SKIN LIGHTENING GEL
Skin lightening gel is a potent formula with a synergistic blend of clinically proven ingredients with skin lightening benefits at effective dosages. The gel is formulated with several naturally derived Antioxidants, Humectants and Emollients which derives soft and smooth skin with regular use. The gel is targeted to help address dark pigment issues that are related to all skin types. Natural ingredients with multiple benefits contribute to overall reduction of dark pigments on face.
What Causes Dark spots or pigments:EXULT
There are several factors that could cause dark pigments, including genetics, pregnancy, UV light and skin diseases among others. Usually in the age group of 18 – 55, hormonal changes caused by stress, contraceptive pills, pregnancy and menopause can also lead to dark spots. Below the age of 20, acne can cause dark spots due to scarring and red marks left by the infection. In many skin diseases like Melasma, overactive melanocytes are also responsible for dark spots.
Target actions to treat dark spots:
⦁ To minimise Melanin/Pigment production –
⦁ Tyrosinase inhibitors_ Example:Kojic acid Dipalmitate, Alpha arbutin
⦁ Melanosome transfer/ Expression of melanin – Example: Niacinamide.
⦁ To accelerate cell turnover and exfoliation – Example:Alpha arbutin
⦁ Excess of sebum control to reduce acne spots – Example: Niacinamide.

How it helps your skin
Niacinamide works on inhibiting excess oil production from sweat glands. It helps in preventing acne and thereby formation of pigments. Niacinamide helps in below ways.
⦁ Regulates sebaceous (oil) production
⦁ Effective anti-inflammatory agent
⦁ Inhibits transfer of melanosomes from melanocytes to keratinocytes
⦁ Upregulates the production of epidermal ceramide synthesis
⦁ Encourages collagen synthesis
⦁ No adverse effects
⦁ Topical Niacinamide is labelled safe in pregnancy and during the lactation period.
Kojic acid is a powerful tyrosinase inhibitor and it functions by the chelation of copper at the active site of the enzyme tyrosinase. Further, it acts as an antioxidant and a free radical scavenger. Kojic dipalmitate is a stable version of kojic acid with enhanced skin penetration.
Arbutin is a naturally occurring β,D-glucopyranoside derivative of hydroquinone. Although it shows tyrosinase inhibition, it is not found to affect RNA synthesis as hydroquinone. The α- derivative shows a stronger inhibitory effect on tyrosinase and melanosome maturation. It is also present in many of the botanical extracts.
Vitamin A derivative or Retinol: EXULT
Vitamin A derivatives works as skin-lightening agents by inducing exfoliation. Further, they accelerate the loss of epidermal melanin by increasing the turnover rate and by promoting the proliferation of keratinocytes. Retinyl palmitate, a derivative of retinoic acid, is used in skin- lightening cosmetic preparations because of its stability and safety.
Ethyl ascorbic acid: EXULT
Ethyl ascorbic acid is a stable form of Vitamin C derivative with excellent skin brightening activity. Its chemical structure is unique which is easily soluble in water with higher efficacy and higher stability than that of vitamin C. It is faster-acting and also shows a longer-term inhibitory effect.
⦁ Inhibit the activity of Tyrosinase, prevent the synthesis of melanin
⦁ Accelerate the synthesis of collagen, improve the lustre of skin
⦁ Strong antioxidation, eliminate the Free radical in body
⦁ Resist the inflammation of skin, inhibit the bacteria
Liquorice Extract: EXULT
The primary way in which liquorice effects skin whitening is through suppressing the overproduction of melanin by skin cells. In doing this, the herb helps prevent skin cells from producing excess melanin in the face of injury, abrasion, and scar formation which create dark spots or uneven skin tone. Liquorice also protects the skin from harmful and usually skin tone damaging UV radiation. In this regard, the active ingredient Glabridin helps to prevent skin damage to the skin due to prolonged exposure to the sun.
Undecylenoyl phenylalanine: EXULT
A lipoamino acid that is a phenylalanine biovector and alpha-MSH antagonist for guaranteed lightening action.
⦁ Tyrosinase, which is responsible for pigmentation, remains “metabolically” inactive (alpha- MSH antagonist and pigment accumulation modulator)
⦁ The complexion is enhanced with a radiant glow and the signs of age are smoothed out, after 2 months of treatment
⦁ Super-fast lightening effect (7 days) by combining AHAs.
It is a molded form of pure naturals like Cowberry fruit, Mango, Unshiu-orange, Litchi, Seabuckthorn which gives a natural whitening effect to the skin already proven by scientists.
⦁ After cleansing the face, take a generous amount of gel in palm and apply on face smoothly and evenly.
⦁ Apply twice daily or whenever suggested.
